I may be 30 years old but how fast the technology has come in a few short years has gotten out of contol. What ever happened to talking on the phone to you BFF's going to the mall just to hang out & maybe run into the hotty that works @ 1 of the stores or the cutie that sits behind you in class. Know you've got to throw your kids out the door to see what the sun really looks like & that the grass is green. Not to mention having to set time limits for video games, cell phones, & the computer. My son is only 9 & already text's faster then I can type. It's a whole knew lanugage all togeather & making since of it is nearly a full time job. It makes it easier for the big bad wolf to walk into your home without a passing glance. As for pernatal controls on everything it seems the kids can fly by that in just seconds before you even get the chance to learn how the damn thing works anyway. I wish there was a way to go back. The idea of making everything come to you without ever opening up the door seems to be a bigger pain in my ass then having to do it all with the short amout of time left in the day. Is it so hard to go out on a date to a movie or hell go to a mall & buy X-mas gifts & wrip them your damn self. I cant keep up & with 2 young kids in the home my fear of the dreadied teen yrs as me losing my mind.
